started out of ignorance.noticed it at age 23,just a fluid leaking from the breast, newly married and few months pregnant.was dismissed as threatened abortion, developed into lump during Breastfeeding, diagnosed as mastitis, moved into multiple lumps after weaning and diagnosed as fibrocysis.after second baby,by age 28,became a massive painless lump.changed location and the awareness was massive at the new location.decided to get a second opinion.did surgery to remove lump, histology was clean.next year same site, same lump regrew.went for another, test read cysts.few months another lump, accelerated growth and excruciating pain.breast tripled in size.went in for third surgery.invasive ductal carcinoma diagnosed, grade 3,very aggressive and has moved out.had a recall of all other biopsies and it was discovered that they were all IDC,and it was a wonder how I kept beating it and keeping it at bay, despite the reoccurrence.THAT'S one journey out of a million here, and that's my journey.cheers
